Public censure on November 21, 2000. He sent a targeted solicitation letter to a potential client
in a personal injury/property damage matter only 2 days after the recipient's auto accident. The
rules requires that a lawyer wait until 30 days after an accident before mailing targeted
communications. His solicitation letter further violated the rules by not disclosing how he
obtained the information prompting the communication, and by claiming in the letter there were
no costs to the client unless the client was compensated.
