Suspended for two (2) years by order entered October 19, 1983, to commence on October 31,
1983, and an indefinite period thereafter until restitution has been made in the Genesco and J. R.
Sloan matters. He submitted a guilty plea to (I) acting upon the predetermined decisions and
directions of an interested politician while he served as Assistant Director of the Tennessee
Alcoholic Beverage Commission in matters involving transfer of liquor license applications and
new license applications; (ii) submitting his check, which was returned for insufficient funds, for
the purchase of stock on behalf of an undisclosed client; and (iii) failing to account for funds and
issuing bad checks in remittance of funds collected on behalf of a client.
