Suspended for five (5) years by order entered October 6, 1986, retroactive to February 25, 1986,
the date he was convicted by a jury on charges involving bank fraud related to his activity while
President of a bank in Tullahoma. In one case, he misapplied bank money by lending money to
others when he and another man were the true, undisclosed beneficiaries of the loan. In a second
case, he conspired with an official of another bank to exchange unsecured loans and to misapply
bank funds. He was sentenced by the U.S. District Court to 4 years in each case, with the
sentences being served consecutively.
