FRANKLIN LAWYER SUSPENDED

On November 30, 2009, W. Ray Culp, III, of Franklin, Tennessee, was suspended by the Tennessee
Supreme Court pursuant to a Conditional Guilty Plea for a period of five (5) years, including his summary
suspension that began on April 3, 2006, and the additional two and one half year suspension that was ordered by
a Hearing Panel on September 30, 2008.

Mr. Culp pled guilty to one count of attempted extortion in USA v. Culp. Mr. Culp’s actions violated
Rule 8.4 of the Rules of Professional Conduct.

Mr. Culp was ordered to pay the expenses and costs of the disciplinary proceeding pursuant to Section
24.3 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court, and must fully comply with the requirements and obligations of
suspended attorneys as set forth in Section 18.1 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court. Mr. Culp must comply
with Section 19 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court, should he seek reinstatement of his law license and not
resume the practice of law until reinstated by further Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
