DAVIDSON COUNTY LAWYER REINSTATED

By Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court entered August 13, 2020, Andrew Harrison Maloney was
reinstated to the active practice of law subject to the terms and conditions of his probation which includes
engaging the services of a practice monitor, reconciling his Trust Account at least monthly and properly account
for client funds, and make a good faith effort to contact those who are entitled to funds being held in escrow
from certain real estate closings. In addition, Mr. Maloney shall incur no new complaints of misconduct that
relate to conduct occurring during the period of suspension and probation which result in the recommendation
by the Board that discipline be imposed.

On June 22, 2020, Mr. Maloney was suspended by the Supreme Court of Tennessee for a period of
eighteen (18) months, pursuant to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 12.2, with ten (10) months active,
and the remainder on probation for mishandling third party funds and improper use of his trust account. Mr.
Maloney’s active suspension was retroactive to September 18, 2019. Mr. Maloney filed a Petition for
Reinstatement to the practice of law pursuant to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 30.4(c) on July 30,
2020. The Board found the Petition satisfactory and submitted an Order of Reinstatement to the Court.
