MADISON COUNTY LAWYER CENSURED

On October 6, 2008, Blair A. Presson, of Jackson, Tennessee, received a Public Censure from the
Tennessee Supreme Court.

The Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Petition for Discipline against Mr. Presson pursuant to
Rule 9 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Tennessee. Mr. Presson submitted a Conditional Guilty Plea
agreeing to accept a Public Censure. Mr. Presson violated the Rules of Professional Conduct by engaging in
conduct that reflects adversely on the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer. He was charged
with a Class A misdemeanor and given pre-trial diversion. Mr. Presson successfully completed the terms of
pre-trial diversion and the criminal record was expunged. His actions violate the following Rule(s) of
Professional Conduct: 8.4 (a), (b) and (d) Misconduct. Mr. Presson is required to pay the costs of the
disciplinary proceedings.

For these violations, the Supreme Court of Tennessee publicly censures Blair A. Presson. A public
censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorney’s ability to practice law.
