Suspended for thirty (30) days by order entered April 27, 2000. She failed to appear in court on
behalf of a client on three occasions which resulted in her client, a non attorney, having to
represent himself and having a judgment entered against him. The Court subsequently ordered
sanctions against Asbury in the amount of one-half of the judgment awarded against her client.
She paid these sanctions. She was also found in contempt of court for failure to appear. In a
second matter, she was charged with neglect of a client's matter and failure to safeguard a client's
retainer by failing to deposit that retainer into a trust account. She submitted a conditional guilty
plea to all charges.
