Disbarred by order entered May 9, 1980. He was indicted and charged with conspiracy to
transport more than two tons of marijuana from Columbia, South Carolina into the continental
United States. After two trials resulting in hung juries, he entered a plea of guilty to unlawful
possession of a quantity of marijuana for which he received a 6-month sentence. Upon his plea
and conviction, he was immediately suspended from practice.
