KNOXVILLE LAWYER CENSURED
On January 16, 2009, Randy K. Miller, of Knoxville, Tennessee, received a Public Censure from the
Board of Professional Responsibility.
Respondentâs license to practice law was administratively suspended on September 21, 2007, for failure
to comply with the requirements of Commission on Continuing Legal Education. On November 8, 2007, the
Respondent signed a pleading in a divorce action. The Respondent filed a request for reinstatement of his
license to practice law on November 15, 2007. Respondentâs license to practice law was reinstated by the
Supreme Court on November 26, 2007. The Respondent practiced law while on administrative suspension, in
violation of RPC 5.5.
For these violations, the Board of Professional Responsibility publicly censures Randy K. Miller. A
Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorneyâs ability to practice
law.
