PUBLIC CENSURE

The above complaint was ï¬led against Samuel Jones, an attorney licensed to practice law in

Tennessee, slinging certain acts of misconduct. Pursuant to Suprcmc Court Rule 9, the Board of

Professional Responsibility consiccrod'thcsc matters at its meeting on Septctnbcr 13, 2013.

Mr. Ioncs ï¬led a divorce on behalf of a client and failed to take any action in the proceeding

which resulted in tho comiâs dismissal of the case for loci: of prosccntion. Mr. Jones promptly had the

dismissal sot acids 'by the court, but again neglected to take any action in tho case resulting in a second

dismissal by the court for lack of pmscoution. Mr. Jones admits thnt he failed to not cliligcntly and

failed to adodnntcly connnnnlcato with his client dosing the representation.
