Public censure on August 9, 1983. While serving as administrator of an estate, he undertook
representation of two of the heirs and negotiated with attorneys for other heirs to effect a division
of real estate among the various heirs, a compromise of claims by certain heirs against the estate
and payment by heirs of taxes and administration expenses, including a fee for himself as
administrator without adequately informing the clients of the areas of potential conflict of
interest between his representation of them and his functions as administrator.
