MEMPHIS ATTORNEY SUSPENDED FROM PRACTICE OF LAW
Ryan B. Feeney, a Memphis attorney, has been suspended from the practice of law by the Tennessee
Supreme Courtâs Order filed April 16, 2008, for a period of one year retroactive to November 1, 2007, with the
imposition of that suspension being suspended and Feeney being on probation.
The Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Petition for Discipline against Feeney on September 25,
2006. On October 31, 2007, Feeney submitted a Conditional Guilty Plea agreeing to a one-year suspension
with all time suspended and Feeney being on probation. A Hearing Panel of the Board of Professional
Responsibility, the Board, and the Supreme Court approved Feeneyâs Guilty Plea for a one-year suspension,
with all time suspended and with Feeney being on probation.
Feeney shall be eligible to petition for reinstatement of his law license on November 1, 2008. To
succeed with a petition for reinstatement, Feeney must prove by clear and convincing evidence that his
reinstatement will not be detrimental to the integrity and standing of the Bar or the administration of justice
or subversive to the public interest.
