Public censure on July 28, 1988. He neglected a client's legal matter, failed to act with
reasonable diligence in representing her, and failed to keep her reasonably informed as to the
status of her case. In a second case, he failed to appropriately handle a client's funds coming into
his possession. In representing another client, he paid the County Sheriff $1,000 in cash, without
obtaining a receipt, as a fine for the dismissal of the charges against his client. The hearing panel
found the payment to be clearly not in accordance with the law and procedure, conduct which
Price knew to be illegal or fraudulent.
