Public censure on November 28, 1991. He was retained to file a lawsuit on behalf of his clients
and then did nothing on the case. Eventually, it was dismissed for failure to prosecute. Hill then
entered into a settlement agreement with his clients to avoid a proposed malpractice lawsuit. He
paid part of the agreed settlement and kept the rest, asserting it was owed to him for representing
the client's wife in another matter. The Court ordered the remaining monies be paid to the client.
The matter was compounded by Hill's continued failure to respond to the complaint filed with
the Board.
