PUBLIC CENSURE
The above complaint was filed against Respondent Jill R. Talley, an attorney licensed to
practice lawin Tennessee, alleging celtein acts of misconduct. Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule
9, the Board of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on June 14,
2013.
Respondent was retained by a client to represent her in a divorce. Respondent ï¬led a
motion and afï¬davit to withdraw in which Respondent stated that âthere have been several
instances where [Respondentâs client] has not been completely truthï¬sl concerning certain lessee,
including her actions, in the case.â Respondentâs client suffered harm as a result of your
statement to the court.
By the aforementioned facts, 1ill R. Talley, has violated Rule of meessionel Conduct 1.6
and is hereby Publicly Censored for this violation.
