MEMPHIS ATTORNEY HELD IN CONTEMPT
On May 19, 2006, the Tennessee Supreme Court adjudicated Warner Hodges, III
to be in willful criminal contempt of the Tennessee Supreme Court beyond a reasonable doubt
and ordered that Warner Hodges, III serve ten (10) days in jail and be fined fifty dollars ($50.00).
The Court ordered that the ten (10) days of incarceration is suspended pending Hodgesâ
compliance with all Orders of the Court, including the monitoring agreement with Tennessee
Lawyers Assistance Program. Additionally, the Court ordered that the accumulated costs of the
cause are taxed against Warner Hodges, III. Hodges engaged in the practice of law by advising
Harlan Davidson and drafting documents to be filed by Davidson in contravention of the
Supreme Courtâs Order of July 11, 2005 suspending Hodges from the practice of law.
