KNOXVILLE LAWYER SUSPENDED
On May 20, 2008, the Tennessee Supreme Court suspended Nathanael E. Anderson of Knoxville,
Tennessee, for one hundred twenty (120) days and placed Anderson on probation for seven (7) months and
twenty nine (29) days.
Anderson violated disciplinary rules by engaging in a pattern of neglect, inadequate communication with
clients, failing to refund fees, charging excessive fees, failing to clarify trust account ambiguities and making
misrepresentation to clients. Andersonâs actions violated the following Rules of Professional Conduct: 1.3
(diligence), 1.4 (communication), 1.5 (fees), 1.15 (safe keeping of property), 1.16 (declining and terminating
representation), and 8.4 (misconduct).
