SHELBY COUNTY LAWYER REINSTATED
On February 12, 2016, the Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated James Marion Allen to the practice of
law effective February 2, 2016. Mr. Allen was suspended by the Supreme Court of Tennessee on August 6,
2015, for a period of six (6) months. Mr. Allen filed a Petition for Reinstatement to the practice of law pursuant
to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 30.4(c) (2014). The Board determined the Petition was
satisfactory and submitted an Order of Reinstatement to the Court. The Order of Reinstatement entered by the
Supreme Court was effective upon filing.
