Suspended for two (2) years by order entered February 1, 1994. Two petitions for discipline
were filed, the first alleging Emert received $800 to pay property taxes and delayed
unnecessarily in paying the tax and was charged with converting the money to his personal use.
The second petition alleged he neglected a legal matter and misled his client and co-counsel
regarding the case. Emert did not file an answer to the petitions nor did he appear at the hearing.
The hearing panel granted a default judgment and recommended a two (2) year suspension.
