PUBLIC CENSURE

The above complaint was filed against Jennifer Sue Kiesewetter, an attorney licensed to
practice law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts ofmisconduct. Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule
9, the Board of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on September
19, 2014.
The Respondent was the sole proprietor of her law firm. In January 2014, client funds
which should have been placed in the law firm’s trust account, were deposited into the law firm ’8'
operating account prior to being earned. In April 2014,'the Respondent misrepresented the status
of her law firm (which had ceased doing business) in documents related to a prior small business
team. No clients were banned, the Respondent repaid the business loan, and the Respondent
reported this conduct to the Board.
By these acts, Jennifer Sue Kiesewetter has violated Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15
(safekeeping property) and 8.4 (c) (misconduct) and is hereby Publicly Censured for this
violation.
