NASHVILLE LAWYER SUSPENDED
On January 30, 2012, the Tennessee Supreme Court suspended the law license of Kymberly Lynn Anne
Haas, a Nashville attorney, for a period of one year.

On May 4, 2011, the Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Petition for Discipline against Ms.
Haas, pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 9. A Hearing Panel found Ms. Haas represented a client in General
Sessions Court and signed and made bond for that client in violation of a state statue prohibiting an attorney
from such conduct. Ms. Haas did not respond to the Board of Professional Responsibility’s Petition.

Ms. Haas’ actions violated the following Rules of Professional Conduct: 8.1 (Disciplinary Matters) and
8.4 (Misconduct).

Ms. Haas was further ordered to pay the expenses and costs of the disciplinary proceedings against her,
pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 24.3, and fully comply in all respects with the requirements and
obligations of suspended attorneys as set forth in Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 18.
