ORDER OF REINSTATEMENT
This matter is before the Court pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7, upon a James
Thomas Dubois, Jr.âs Petition for Reinstatement to Active Status Pursuant to Tenn. Sup.
Ct. R. 9, § 27.7, filed March 14, 2024. Mr. Duboisâs law license was transferred to
disability inactive status by Order of this Court entered February 13, 2023. The Board of
Professional Responsibility filed a Response to the petition on April 9, 2024, noting no
objection to the Petition for Reinstatement.
From all of which, the Court grants the Petition for Reinstatement.
IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED, AND
DECREED BY THE COURT THAT:
1. Petitioner, James Thomas Dubois, Jr., is hereby reinstated to the practice of
law in the State of Tennessee pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7(b).
2. Mr. Dubois shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs incurred herein
within ninety (90) days of the entry of this Order, for all of which execution may issue if
necessary.
3. The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this
reinstatement to be published as required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 28.11.
