MEMPHIS LAWYER REINSTATED TO THE PRACTICE OF LAW

On November 19, 2002, the Supreme Court of Tennessee entered an order
reinstating Thompson G. Kirkpatrick to the practice of law.

On October 23, 1995, Kirkpatrick was disbarred from the practice of law in
Tennessee after having abandoned his law practice as a result of alcohol and drug
abuse, and having been convicted of misdemeanor possession of a controlled
substance, violation of probation and domestic assault.

Kirkpatrick subsequently filed a petition for reinstatement. On November 19,
2001, his petition was heard by a hearing committee and the committee found that
Kirkpatrick had proved by clear and convincing evidence that his law license should be
reinstated subject to the following conditions: (1) Kirkpatrick shall remain under contract
with TLAP for five (5) years; and, (2) Kirkpatrick shall be required to take the state
portion of the bar exam, but not the multi-state portion, as a condition to reinstatement
to the practice of law. On October 25, 2002, the Board of Law Examiners certified to
the Board of Professional Responsibility that Thompson G. Kirkpatrick sat for and
successfully passed the state portion of the bar exam administered on July 31 and
August 1, 2002, and, (3) the hearing panel also recommended that Kirkpatrick be
ordered to pay the cost to the Board of the reinstatement.
