The above complaint was ï¬led against John Hollis MoElheny, an attorney licensed to practice

law in Tennessee, alleging cortain acts ofmisoonduot. lâtnsuant to Term. Sup. Ct. R. 9, the Board

of Profossional Responsibility considered these matters at its wasting onJuno 10, 2016.

Mr. McElheny provided ï¬nancial assistance to his client on two, occasions prior to the

resolution of the case and failed to safeguard a oliont selllomont check by failing, to deposit the check

in his trust account.

By these acts, John Hollis MoElhony has violated Rulos of Professional Conduct 1.8(6)

(conï¬ict of interest) and 1.15 (safekeeping proporty) and he is honeby Publicly Censmed for these
