DRESDEN LAWYER DISBARRED

On August 14, 2008, Harry Max Speight, of Dresden, Tennessee, was disbarred by Order of the
Tennessee Supreme Court.

The Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Petition for Discipline and Supplemental Petition for
Discipline against Harry Max Speight pursuant to Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court of Tennessee. The
Board’s Petition for Discipline alleged Speight had misappropriated more than One Million Dollars
($1,000,000.00) of client funds. The Supplemental Petition for Discipline alleged Speight had continued
practicing law after the Supreme Court temporarily suspended Speight from the practice of law on November
30, 2006. On April 18, 2008, Speight consented to disbarment.

Harry Max Speight must comply with the requirements of Section 19 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme
Court, should he seek reinstatement of his Tennessee law license and may not resume the practice of law until
reinstated by further Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Speight must further comply with Section 18 of
Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court, regarding the obligations and responsibilities of disbarred attorneys.
