KNOX COUNTY LAWYER SUSPENDED

On August 13, 2008, the Tennessee Supreme Court entered an Order suspending the law license of
James M. Webster for six (6) months and ordering restitution to three (3) former clients.

The Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Petition for Discipline and Supplemental Petitions for
Discipline against Mr. Webster pursuant to Rule 9 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Tennessee. Mr.
Webster failed to answer the Petition for Discipline and Supplemental Petitions for Discipline and therefore it
was deemed admitted that Mr. Webster neglected clients’ cases; failed to communicate with clients; and
continued practicing law while on suspension for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) noncompliance.

Mr. Webster’s action violated the Disciplinary Rules and Rules of Professional Conduct. The Supreme
Court suspended Mr. Webster for six (6) months and ordered Mr. Webster to make restitution to three (3)
former clients totaling Three Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,250.00).
