LOUISIANA LAWYER DISBARRED

On June 13, 2009, the Tennessee Supreme Court entered an Order disbarring Louisiana attorney Scott E.
Meece.

The Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Petition for Reciprocal Discipline against Mr. Meece
based upon the Supreme Court of Louisiana’s Order permanently disbarring Mr. Meece. By Notice filed May
14, 2009, the Tennessee Supreme Court directed Mr. Meece to inform the Court within thirty (30) days why the
imposition of identical discipline should not be imposed. Mr. Meece did not respond to the Supreme Court’s
Notice.

Mr. Meece must comply with requirements of Section 19 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court, should
he seek reinstatement of his Tennessee law license and may not resume the practice of law until reinstated by
further order of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Mr. Meece must further comply with Section 18 of Rule 9,
Rules of the Supreme Court, regarding the obligations and responsibilities of disbarred attorneys.
