LAW LICENSE OF KNOXVILLE LAWYER TRANSFERRED
TO DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS
On December 10, 2007, the law license of attorney David Britton Brand was transferred to
disability inactive status. Mr. Brandâs last law office was located in Knox County. Mr. Brand
petitioned the Supreme Court to permit this transfer as a result of an illness. Disciplinary Counsel did
not object to the transfer. Mr. Brand cannot practice law until his law license is reinstated by the
Supreme Court after a reinstatement hearing. This transfer was made pursuant to Section 21, Rule
9, Rules of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
