The above complaint was ï¬led against Karl Emmanuel Pulley, #012761, an attorney

licensed to practice law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts of misconduct. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup.

Ct. R. 9, the Board of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on June

8, 2018.

In representing a client in a criminal case, Mr. Pulley failed to request ajury instruction as

to the lesser offense of facilitation, which was fairly raised by the proof thereby waiving any

chance his client had of being convicted of a lesser charge. In response to a post-conviction

petition in which the Respondentâs client alleged that the Respondent rendered constitutionally
