NASHVILLE LAWYER REINSTATED TO THE PRACTICE OF LAW

On March 12, 2002, the Tennessee Supreme Court reinstated the law license of William Norman
Ligon, who practiced law in Nashville, Tennessee at the time of his suspension in 1996.

The Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court made Ligon’s reinstatement subject to the following conditions:

(1) Notify the Board of Professional Responsibility (the Board) if he intends to practice as a sole
practitioner within the next 24 months;

(2) Select a mentor approved by the Board;

(3) Maintain regular contact with the mentor;

(4) Have the mentor make semi-annual reports to the Board as to the types of practice (e.g.,
sole practitioner or office sharing arrangement) Mr. Ligon is engaged in;

(5) Resolve any outstanding disciplinary complaints against him;

(6) Be on probation for two (2) years; and

(7) Pay the costs.
