NASHVILLE LAWYER CENSURED
On January 13, 2020, Gregory Wade Dawson, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee,
received a Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Mr. Dawson knowingly provided legal services to clients, prepared and filed pleadings, and appeared in
court after he was administratively suspended from the practice of law.
By these acts, Gregory Wade Dawson has violated Rule of Professional Conduct 5.5 (unauthorized
practice of law) and 8.4(d) (conduct prejudicial to administration of justice), and is hereby Publicly Censured
for these violations.
A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorneyâs ability to
practice law.
