PUBLIC CENSURE

The above complaint was ï¬led against James Franklin Logan, In, an attorney licensed to

practice law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts of misconduct. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9,

the Board of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on September 13,

"2.013.

After Mr. Logan was retained to assist his client in unlit-aging lottery winnings and forming a.

limited partnership with the client for that purpose, the client depleted the principal from the

investment account into which the winnings were deposited. Thereafter, Mr. Logan took action on

behalf of the limited partnership to Foreclose on his clientâs residence. in so doing, Mr. Logan
