SHELBY COUNTY LAWYER CENSURED

On July 20, 2011, Timothy Allen Price, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee, received a
Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.

In December of 2009, a client hired Mr. Price to prepare and file an application for Freedom of
Information Act Request and to obtain a copy of the client’s criminal record. Although Mr. Price was paid to
perform this service, he took no action in the case. The client’s repeated attempts to contact Mr. Price were
unsuccessful. Mr. Price recently received a two-year suspension for similar conduct.

By the aforementioned acts, Timothy Allen Price has violated Rules of Professional Conduct 1.3
(Diligence), 1.4 (Communication), 1.5 (Fees), 1.15 (Safekeeping Property), 1.16 (Declining and Terminating
Representation), 8.1(Bar Admission and Disciplinary Matters), and 8.4 (Misconduct) and is hereby Publicly
Censured for these violations.

A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorney’s ability to
practice law.
