NASHVILLE LAWYER REINSTATED BY SUPREME COURT
Parrish B. Stanton has been reinstated to the practice of law by Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court
entered May 22, 2012. Mr. Stanton was suspended from the practice of law by Order of the Supreme Court on
October 14, 2010 for a period of eighteen months, retroactive to January 26, 2009. Additionally, Mr. Stanton
was required to pay restitution prior to reinstatement. On October 11, 2011, Mr. Stanton filed a Petition for
Reinstatement. A Hearing Panel determined that he should be reinstated; however, Mr. Stanton must attend
support groups with the Tennessee Lawyers Assistance Program twice a month for one year; attend ten (10) of
the required continuing legal education hours in the subject area of criminal law; and engage a practice monitor
for one year. Further, Mr. Stanton must pay the costs of the reinstatement proceeding.
