HAMILTON COUNTY LAWYER SUSPENDED

On September 30, 2009, Jeffrey A. Stinnett, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was suspended by the
Tennessee Supreme Court pursuant to a Conditional Guilty Plea for a period of nine (9) months, retroactive to
Mr. Stinnett’s Temporary Suspension on January 29, 2009.

Mr. Stinnett’s neglect and failure to communicate with clients violated Rules 1.3; 1.4; 1.5; 1.15; 1.16;
3.2; 8.1 and 8.4 of the Rules of Professional Conduct.

Mr. Stinnett was ordered to pay the expenses and costs of the disciplinary proceeding pursuant to
Section 24.3 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court, and must fully comply with the requirements and
obligations of suspended attorneys as set forth in Section 18.1 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court.
