STORY, VIRGINIA LEE BPR # 011700

July 20, 1989 County:Williamson District:6

Public censure on July 20, 1989. She represented a client in both Davidson and Williamson
Counties. At the Davidson County sentencing hearing, she failed to inform the Court of the
Williamson County conviction. Her client's probation was revoked in Davidson County. Since
the Court was unaware at the time of sentencing of the Williamson County conviction, the Court,
pursuant to the Rules of Criminal Procedures, had to require the client to serve the Davidson
County sentence consecutively with Williamson County rather than concurrently.
