Suspended for thirty (30) days by order entered June 15, 2001, from December 15, 2000 to
January 14, 2001. He was placed on probation for two (2) years subsequent to the suspension.
He mistakenly took attorneys fees from both the husband and wife in a divorce action, resulting
in a conflict of interest. He failed to withdraw from the husband; filed a default judgment
against the wife and submitted to the Court a divorce decree without advising the Court of the
circumstances. He further purchased the subject matter of a partition suit in which he was
counsel for the plaintiff and tried to circumvent the conflict of interest rules by naming his wife
as the owner of the property.
