NASHVILLE LAWYER REINSTATED BY SUPREME COURT
By Order of the Supreme Court entered on May 11, 2009, William W. Leech has been reinstated to the
practice of law, conditioned upon Mr. Leechâs continued compliance through December, 2012 with his
Tennessee Lawyerâs Assistance Program (TLAP) Monitoring Agreement and a practice monitor. On May 13,
2008, Mr. Leech was suspended from the practice of law for one (1) year, all time suspended except three (3)
months actual suspension, with the remainder probation. On November 3, 2008, Mr. Leech filed a Petition for
Reinstatement and a hearing was held on March 16, 2009. Based upon the Hearing Panelâs recommendations,
the Supreme Court found that Mr. Leech has demonstrated that he has the moral qualifications, competency and
learning in the law required for admission to practice law and that his resumption of the practice of law will not
be detrimental to the integrity or standing of the bar or administration of justice, or subversive to the public
interest.
