MEMPHIS LAWYER REINSTATED TO THE PRACTICE OF LAW
On May 21, 2002, the Supreme Court of Tennessee entered an order reinstating the
law license of Kathleen L. Caldwell, a Memphis lawyer.
On April 16, 2002, the Court entered an order temporarily suspending the law license of
Ms. Caldwell for failure to respond to the Board of Professional Responsibility upon
notification of a complaint filed against her. On April 17, 2002, Ms. Caldwell filed a
Motion for Dissolution of Temporary Suspension with the Court. On May 9, 2002, a
hearing was conducted by a three-member Hearing Panel. After consideration of the
pleadings the panel recommended that the Order of Temporary Suspension be
dissolved and Ms. Caldwell be reinstated to the practice of law. The Supreme Court of
Tennessee ordered Ms. Caldwellâs temporary suspension be dissolved on May 21,
2002.
