Richard âRickâ H. Batson, II, a Nashville lawyer, has been publicly censured by the Board of
Professional Responsibility on July 19, 2007 for failing to adequately communicate with his client and
Disciplinary Counsel and failing to advise his client he had been suspended from the practice of law by the
Tennessee Supreme Court. The Board found Batson violated Rules 1.4 and 8.4(a)(d)(g) of the Tennessee Rules
of Professional Conduct.
