Public censure on April 1, 1999. Four complaints were filed. In the first, she was cited several
times by the Probate Judge to close an estate that was opened in May 1991, but she neglected the
case until after the complaint was filed. The Board filed the second complaint against Quinn for
failing to respond to an overdraft in her trust account, resulting in a temporary suspension of her
license. After the suspension, she fully responded and the trust account seemed to be free of
violations. The third complaint involved a client's payment to her for legal work involving the
client's property. She cashed the client's check but failed to return the client's calls, and later
prepared the required affidavit of heirship but failed to promptly record it. After the complaint
was filed, she located the affidavit, recorded it and forwarded it to the client. Lastly, she
neglected her duties as administrator of a client's estate until after a complaint was filed with the
Board.
