MEMPHIS LAWYER PUBLICLY CENSURED
Robert E. Tribble, Jr., of Memphis, was publicly censured by the Board of
Professional Responsibility on November 29, 2005. The censure was issued by the
Board pursuant to Rule 9, Section 8 of the Rules of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Tribble did not request a hearing on the matter.
In one complaint filed against Tribble, the Board found that he had engaged in
the unauthorized practice of law in Tennessee by practicing from September 7, 2004
through June 28, 2005 while his license was administratively suspended during this
period on account of his failure to obtain, and to submit to the CLE Commission
sufficient evidence of having obtained, mandatory annual continuing legal education.
