ORDER TRANSFERRING ATTORNEY TO
DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS

This matter is before the Court upon a petition filed by attorney Renfro Blackburn
Baird, III, to transfer to disability inactive status pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.4.

Upon due consideration of documentation from Mr. Baird’s medical care provider,
the Court concludes that Renfro Blackburn Baird, III, is currently incapacitated from
continuing the practice of law and defending against disciplinary proceedings.

IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND
DECREED BY THE COURT THAT:

1. The law license of Renfro Blackburn Baird, III, shall be transferred to
disability inactive status for an indefinite period of time and until further orders of the
Supreme Court.

2. Any pending disciplinary complaints or proceedings are suspended
indefinitely until such time as Mr. Baird is removed from disability inactive status.

3. Mr. Baird shall be allowed to petition for reinstatement to active status
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7.

4. The Board shall publish notice of this transfer pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R.
9, §§ 27.5 and 28.11.

5. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 32.4, documents other than this Order
relating to Mr. Baird’s disability proceeding shall not be public records and shall be kept
confidential.
