ARKANSAS LAWYER REINSTATED
Effective January 18, 2018, the Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated Scott Douglas Fletcher to the
practice of law. Mr. Fletcher was suspended for a period of five (5) years by Order of the Arkansas Supreme
Court entered September 29, 2011, and Mr. Fletcherâs license to practice law in Tennessee was suspended by
Order of this Court entered February 23, 2012.
Mr. Fletcher filed a Petition for Reinstatement to the practice of law pursuant to Tennessee Supreme
Court Rule 9, Section 30.4(d). A Hearing Panel recommended Mr. Fletcherâs reinstatement after determining
he possessed the moral qualifications required for admission to practice law in Tennessee, and his resumption of
the practice of law would not be detrimental to the integrity and standing of the bar or the administration of
justice, and would not be subversive to the public interest.
