Suspended for four (4) years by order entered January 19, 1989, retroactive to June 11, 1986, the
date of his voluntary cessation from practice. He had misappropriated $20,789 over a 3 year
period from an estate he had been appointed as administrator. The largest amount removed from
the estate at any one time was $11,600. The Board appealed the 4 year judgment to the Circuit
Court, which upheld the hearing panel's decision. Upon appeal of that decision, the Supreme
Court found Bonnington's restitutions to the estate a mitigating factor and upheld the 4 year
suspension.
