ORDER OF REINSTATEMENT
This matter is before the Court pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7, upon
a Petition for Reinstatement to Active Status Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7,
filed on October 18, 2022, by Petitioner James William West f/k/a David Martin
Macaione. The Petitionerâs law license was transferred to disability inactive status
by Order of this Court entered July 29, 2022. The Response of the Board of
Professional Responsibility to the Petition for Reinstatement to Active Status
Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7 was filed, noting no objection to the Petition
for Reinstatement. The Board further advised the Court of Petitionerâs legal name
change to James William West.
From all of which, the Court grants the Petition for Reinstatement.
IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED, AND
DECREED BY THE COURT THAT:
1.
The Petitioner, James William West, f/k/a David Martin Macaione, is
hereby reinstated to the practice of law in the State of Tennessee pursuant to Tenn.
Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7 (b).
2.
Mr. West shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs incurred herein
within ninety (90) days of the entry of this Order, for all of which execution may
issue if necessary.
3.
The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this
reinstatement to be published as required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 28.11
PER CURIAM
