not licensed in the state of Tennessee to login, review, and even update some of their Pro Hac Vice
registration information online.

| I'm licensed in Tennessee. Do I need to create an online account on the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal?
No; the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal is only for those attorneys licensed in other states who are seeking admission Pro Hac Vice pursuant to Rule 19 of the Supreme Court of Tennessee.
Attorneys licensed in the State of Tennessee may log in to the Licensed Attorney Portal.

| How do I create an online account?
To create an online account on the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal, browse to the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal Login page and click the "Register" button. You will be redirected to the registration page.
On the registration page, you will be asked for contact information, such as your full name, your State of Licensure, and your State License ID. After entering the required information, click the "Next" button and follow the directions.

| I've forgotten my password. How can I retrieve it?
To retrieve a lost or forgotten password, browse to the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal Login page and click the "Forgot My Password" link at the bottom. You will be redirected to a page that prompts you to enter the email address associated with your Portal account. After entering your email address, press the "Submit" button and your password will be emailed to you.
Once you receive the email with the Portal password, browse to the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal login page and enter your email address and password to log in to the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal.
If you cannot remember the email address associated with the Pro Hac Vice Portal, or you no longer have access to that email account, you must contact the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Portal support.

| I'm registering on the Pro Hac Vice Portal, but my state does not issue a License ID. What should I do?
Most states issues a license ID or state registration number either through the court or through the state bar association. State License ID's are required for all attorneys whose licensing state issues them. If your state does not issue License ID's, leave the field blank. The State of Licensure is required for all attorneys.

| I'm licensed in more than one state? Which one should I enter while registering on the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal?
If you are currently licensed in more than one state, please enter the licensing information for the state in which you have an office and are practicing since this is most likely the state that will provide the Certificate of Good Standing.

| Can I enter more than one email address when I register?
Each Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal account is associated with a single email address. It is the primary means by which the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility will contact you regarding a lost or forgotten password and for annual renewal reminders.
You may change the email address associated with the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal if needed. If you have a personal email address and a work email address, it may be more convenient to provide the email address that is less likely to change over time.

| How do I log in to the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal?
Once you have created a Portal user account, you can log in to the Portal by browsing to the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal Login page and entering your email address and password.

Once you've logged into the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal, you can update your contact information, change your password, pay your registration fee, and update your case participation history.

| I've mistyped my name or License ID but cannot change it on the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal. What should I do?
The Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal allows you to update much of your personal and professional information, however it does not provide a means to update your name or Licensure information. If you need to change that information, please contact the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Portal support .

| When I enter an address and press save, my address changes. Why?
All addresses are verified with the United States Postal Service address database. When you enter your address, it may be reformatted or modified slightly so that it is compliant with the United States Postal Service's guidelines.

| How do I pay my registration fee?
After logging into the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal, click the “Registration Payments” menu item on the left-hand side of the window under the “Details” heading. Next, click the “Pay Registration Fee” button and a new window will open. In the new window, enter your payment information and press the “Submit Payment” button once.

| How can I change my password?
After logging into the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal, click on the “Change Password” menu item on the left-hand side of the window under the “Details” heading. Next, click the “Change Password” button on the right-hand side of the window. In the new window that opens, enter your old password followed by your new password and press the “Change Password" button.

| According to Rule 19 of the Supreme Court of Tennessee, I must provide the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility the full name or style of the case(s) for which I am seeking admission Pro Hac Vice. How can I do that?
Log in to the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal and click on the “Case Participation History” menu item on the left-hand side of the window under the “Details” heading. To add a new case to your participation history, click the “New Case” button. In the new window that opens, enter the case information as requested. If this is an ongoing case, leave the Involvement End date blank. When you are finished, press the “Save” button in the upper left-hand corner of the window.
When you return to the prior window, click the ”Refresh” button, the two green swirling arrows on the right hand side of the window, to see the newly entered case information. By double-clicking the case, you can once again see the case information in another window.
As you supply requisite information to the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility for the case, your Case Participation History will be updated. For example, when you provide a copy of the motion to the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility, the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal will be updated to reflect the newly provided information. You may check the status of your compliance as often as you wish.

| I am no longer working on a case shown in my Case Participation History. What should I do?
Once you have finished your involvement with a case, whether the case is completed or not, you should update your Case Participation History record.
Log in to the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal using your email address and password. Once logged in, click on the “Case Participation History” menu item on the left-hand side of the window under the “Details” heading. Double click the case with which you no longer are involved to open a new window.
In the new “Case Participation Information” window, enter the Involvement End Date and press the “Save” button, and the window will automatically close. When you return to the prior window, click the ”Refresh” button, the two green swirling arrows on the right-hand side of the window, to refresh the information displayed in the window. You should see an Involvement End Date listed for the Case Participation History row.

| Once I’ve created a Case Participation, how do I submit the required paperwork?
Rule 19 of the Supreme Court of Tennessee requires that you submit a Motion to Appear Pro Hac Vice, an Affadivit and a Certificate of Good Standing from the court of last resort in your state of licensure. You may provide these documents by any of the three following methods:
1. Mail them to the Board of Professional Responsibility, 1101 Kermit Drive, Suite 730, Nashville, TN, 37217
2. Scan the documents in pdf format and email them to support@tbpr.org
3. Fax them to 615/367-2480

| I accidentally created a Case Participation. How can I delete it?
Once a Case Participation has been created on the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal, it can only be deleted by the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility. Please contact us if you have inadvertently entered a Case Participation.

| When I change my email address in the portal and click save, the next time I log in it still shows my old email address. Why?
When log into the Attorney Portal, your browser caches the email address. This email address is what is shown as your Email Address in the Portal. Your new email address will appear once you've closed your browser and reopened it the next time you log into the portal.

| My business partner and I share an email address. How can we both login to the Attorney Portal?
The Board of Professional Responsibility takes security and privacy very seriously. We strive to ensure that every attorney's personal information is held in the strictest confidence.
There are many layers of technical security built into the Attorney Portal, including requiring a unique userid and password combination for each attorney. Your userid is is your email address, so two or more attorneys cannot share the same email address even if you are in business together.
If you need to create a new email address for yourself, there are free ones available on the internet. For example gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail all offer free email addresses.

| How can I pay my fees?
You can pay fees owed to the Board of Professional Responsibility using the Pro Hac Vice Attorney Portal. Log on and select the Invoices menu item on the left hand side of the window. You may then elect to pay any unpaid invoices using a MasterCard or Visa credit card. Other cards, such as Diner's Club, American Express, and Debit cards are not accepted.
